The next trip to Robbins to serve the poor will be Saturday, April 29th. We gather in the rectory basement at 9:45am to prepare lunches, clean up and head out at 10:45am. Help is deeded with donations, assembling lunches and volunteers to go to Robbins. Anyone who can help with any of these, please contact our team.
1.) Donations needed: 12 loaves of white bread and 4 cases of water. Sanitary kits for men, women or children (ie: Toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, razors, shave cream, soap, shampoo, conditioner, chapstick, band aids, lotion, feminine products, was clothes, wipes, first aid cream , sun block. There is always an urgent need for diapers sizes, 1,2,3,4,5. Donations of clothing and shoes for spring, especially for children.
2.) Assembling lunches: 10-15 people to help prepare and package lunches. This only takes an hours from 9:45-10:45 in the rectory basement.
3.) Trip to Robbins: Help is needed driving and unloading donations and distributing lunches to the poor. Please contact Amy (708) 715-2090 or Pam (773) 612-0281 with any questions or to volunteer.
